Science Club in the Spotlight
This month’s club in the spotlight is Science Club. Mr. Cupp is the adviser for it. Brooke Heitmeyer, a Senior, is the club’s president. The Vice President of Science Club is senior Alyssa Schroeder. The Secretary, also a senior, is Ross Schroeder. The Treasurer is Mindy Ellerbrock, a Junior. I sat down and talked to the secretary, Ross Schroeder, about Science Club’s plans for this year and what they did in their last meeting. Ross, pictured above, says that during the last meeting, which was held September seventeenth during Viking Period, they discussed making committees for various Science Club activities like making science related activities for future meetings and making Christmas ornaments. Science Club then decided who would do what for the Blood Drive. He said that they are all busy preparing for the Bloodmobile on November twenty-fourth. It will be held all day in the Varsity gym. The Science Club teamed up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at Leipsic HIgh School. Students who are not already registered for the Bloodmobile can sign up by going to the Science Club website.
