Pope Francis Made Visit to the U.S.

As most of you probably heard, Pope Francis was in the U.S. from September 22nd through the 27th, making stops in Washington D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia. Some highlights from his trip included meeting with President Obama and speaking to the Senate and House of Representatives in Washington D.C., visiting Ground Zero in NYC, and holding a Papal mass for the World Meeting of Families. I talked to Mr. Gerten, who was in Philadelphia for the World Meeting of Families, and asked him about his experience. Mr. Gerten, pictured above with his family, said that he enjoyed seeing the Pope and meeting new people, although getting on and off the subway and getting through security could have gone a little smoother.
