Carols for Christmas

The Leipsic Junior High and High School choir students kick off the month with the 2018 Christmas Concert on Monday, December 17, at 8:00 pm. Miss Klein and the students have been hard at work learning the songs throughout the month of November and the beginning of December. The junior high will be singing “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch”, “Snow is Falling”, and “Winter Sleigh Ride.” The high school will be singing “Christmas(Baby Please Come Home)”, “At Christmas”, and “Silent Night.” Viking Chorale will be singing “Patapan Fantasia”, “Carol of the Bells”, “Bethlehem Boy”, and “No Room, No Room.”

Another great performance to catch would be the 2018 Leipsic Junior High and High School Holiday Band Concert on Wednesday, December 12, at 7:00 pm. Mr. Stein has been tirelessly working with his band members to perfect the Christmas songs that will be performed. The junior high will be playing “Jolly Old St. Nicholas”, “Jingle Bells”, “Santa Comes Marching In”, “Jolly Old Sleigh Ride”, “Chant de Noel”, and “Deck the Holidays.” The high school will be playing “Home for Christmas”, “Christmas Singalong”, “Brazilian Bell Carol”, and “Cantique de Noel.”

The pictures above showcase some of our Leipsic band and choir students as they prepare for their concerts. Make sure to come check out the songs that the students have prepared for these upcoming concerts.
