Why You Shouldn’t Drive Drunk

You hear it from your teachers, from your parents, on TV, on the radio, and just about everywhere else these days. Don’t drink and drive. At this point, you might see a commercial about it and shrug it off as annoying and repetitive. But the message is a message you should really be sure to follow. The picture above is a good example of what can happen if you decide to drive after you have one too many.

The picture above shows my dad and step-mom’s cars, after a drunk driver ran a stop sign by our house and crashed into them. It’s lucky that it was late and the cars were parked, so no one got hurt, but it could’ve been much worse. Many people don’t get to walk away from accidents like this. Innocent people, as well as the drunk drivers, get killed all the time in accidents. So please, if you are going to drink, have someone else drive, or walk. It’s yours, or maybe someone else’s life at stake. Make the right decision.
