Things To Do in Toledo


Just think, you live one hour away from a city that is always booming with activities to do. If you’re a nature person who loves to go on walks in the Metroparks, Toledo has plenty for you. There is Wildwood, Swan Creek, Side Cut, Middlegrounds, Pearson, Oak Openings Metroparks, and more in Toledo. If you would like more of a nature experience, you can visit the Toledo Botanical Garden. The garden is open to the public and free of charge. There are sculptures scattered here, and some of the gardens include the green garden, herb garden, perennial garden, pioneer garden, and many more.

If you are interested in art, the Toledo Museum of Art, pictured above, is for you. The admission is free to tour the two-level art museum that has 45 different art galleries. In the many different galleries, they have over 30,000 pieces of art that represent various time periods in regions across the world. The place that many already know of is the Toledo Zoo. It is well known around the winter time for families who go to see the lights before Christmas. Toledo is a booming city and continues to prove that to the many people who visit for the different activities they hold throughout the year.
