img_3955

When growing up as a child, you would always wish to be in Mr. Spangler´s class. One reason you always wanted to go into Mr. Spangler’s  is to see his loving and adoring mother Mrs. Spangler, pictured above. She was born on November 17, 1932, in Dayton, Ohio. She has been coming to school for 19 years. She loves helping children. Mrs. Spangler always believed in giving back to community. She states ‘It takes more than a family to raise a child,  it takes a community, and I want to be part of that.” She loves helping children and her son in the classroom.  Mrs. Spangler has had many challenges in her life.  She said, “God has given her many wonderful friends and family members.”  These people helped support her through all the challenges.

When talking to Mrs. Spangler, she has had many different jobs in her life as well,  from a long distance telephone operator, to an exercise instructor, to working in a nursing home.  She says her favorite job of all has been here at Leipsic Elementary meeting and helping so many really wonderful children. She wants to thank everyone for always being so kind, loving, and respectful of her.
