It’s Black Friday!

Ahhhhhh, it’s that time of year again. It is time for parents and older siblings to go Black Friday shopping at stores all over. Black Friday is November 24, 2017, also called, “The Day After Thanksgiving.” Why is it called Black Friday? Black Friday is called this because of the fact that so many people go shopping and that it caused a lot of violence and car accidents in the past.

It is rare to see a store not do Black Friday. Many of the ads will be published in the newspapers next week, similar to the one pictured above. Stores doing Black Friday around Leipsic are Walmart, Dunham’s Sports, Finish Line, Gamestop, and a couple more. People who go shopping will have to be patient because there is a lot of waiting that goes on. I asked a fellow classmate, Braydon Niese, if he goes Black Friday Shopping, and he said, “I am forced to go shopping and I go for the food.”

If you are Black Friday shopping this year, I hope you are safe and have a great time!
