DEFY the Ordinary

Defiance College was founded in 1850.  It was originally a female seminary until the mid-1880’s when they opened the campus for the first students.  It is a very small, homey campus with around 800 students and with an average class size of fifteen students.  There are more than 40 undergraduate programs and 40 student organizations to be a part of on the 150 acres of land.

The average tuition, room, and board totals to about $40,000 a year.  There are many on-campus jobs available along with scholarships and grants that are given by the college based on GPA, ACT score, and financial status.

Defiance College has many sports teams including men’s cross country, football, soccer, basketball, indoor track and field, baseball, golf, outdoor track and field, and tennis.  The college also offers women’s cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, indoor and outdoor track and field, and softball.
