How to Have Stability


If you have a full-time job and struggle to have a good work schedule and balance it around school schedules, maybe this article will help. One thing to help with balancing your schedule is to talk to your advisers. You can see if any of your classes are flexible or even online. The second tip is to prioritize. You can write down all of your daily activities and write down a specific time to do them, allowing you to live your life by a schedule and not have to worry about the time. A third tip is to focus. Do not get sidetracked and allow yourself to stray from the path of success. You need to make sure you show up to class on time and  also to get through your courses. The last and final tip to help you balance your schedule is to sleep. You want to make sure you get a good night’s rest to make sure you have enough energy to still go to school but yet still have enough to go to work. ” Sometimes when I get home, I do my homework until I have to go to work, and then if I don’t get it done I take it to work with me. Then I go home and get ready for bed and get a good night’s rest and do it all over again in the morning.”-Alexia Elizarraga, pictured above. As you can see, this is a schedule of a senior in high school, and she has her schedule worked out so she can get everything done.
