A Well- Balanced Diet


Many people try to eat healthy, especially as we get closer to summer. Even though many people think that eating less is healthy, that is not always the case. You should work on eating a well-balanced meal. You should also eat three meals every day. Many people skip breakfast because they think they are saving calories but really, not eating breakfast could make you gain weight. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and eating breakfast can also boost your metabolism.

Every meal you eat should also be balanced by food groups. You should follow the “MyPlate” diagram, pictured above, when planning out meals. Everyone’s amount is different according to their age, weight, and gender. There are many small steps you can do to have a healthier diet. You could try to eat foods with less sodium because it will reduce your risk for high blood pressure. You could consider switching to low-fat or fat-free dairy products. You could also switch your grains to whole grains for a healthier choice too. You should also drink 8 eight oz. of water each day. How do you practice eating healthy?
