Throwback TV… Jersey Shore
There are a lot of different shows that have come and gone. Some shows were big hits, and others not so much. One show that was big was “Jersey Shore.” The first episode of “Jersey Shore” aired on December 3, 2009. The original cast of “Jersey Shore” included Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Jennifer “JWoww” Farley, Samantha “Sweetheart” Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino. “Jersey Shore” was a television show that ran on MTV from 2009-2012. The series followed the lives of eight housemates that spent the summer at the Jersey Shore in New Jersey. The show had 6 seasons.
Season 2 showed the cast going to Miami Beach, Florida. Following season 2, Angelina Pivarnick was removed from the show. They decided to add Deena Nicole Cortese. The show enjoyed the most success during season 3. This was voted the most popular season of the show. The season had 13 total episodes. One of the bigger events of season 3 was when Deena moved in. Season 6 was voted the worst season of the 6 total seasons. The show was filled with a lot of drama that really pulled the audience in. There were many phrases people remembered from the show like, “It’s T-Shirt Time” and “GTL”. Braydon Niese, pictured above, said that he was a fan of the show during its time. There have been many shows that have come and gone, and Jersey Shore is among one of the more popular ones.
