Throwback to…Friends!

Lights, camera, action!  One of the popular TV shows that had audiences wanting more is Friends.  The picture above shows the show’s stars.  The show was very popular when it aired in 1994, and it continued to air for 10 seasons, ending in 2004.  The show is about a group of people living in New York City.  Basically, they all met each other in a coffee shop called Central Perk.  The show then follows the group through ups and downs over a total span of 10 years.

The group mainly consists of the characters Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, and Ross Geller.  They each go through their own kind of conflicts and more throughout the seasons.  They all help each other get through the tough times and always end up with a fun time together.

Friends was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, who worked together to create such great entertainment.  The show includes many entertaining, inspiring, funny, and just plain silly quotes.  Some examples include: “How you doin’?”, “How long do cats live? Like assuming you don’t throw ‘em under a bus or something?”, “Welcome to the real world. It sucks. You’re gonna love it!”, “Come on Ross, you’re a paleontologist, dig a little deeper.”, “It’s a moo point. It’s like a cow’s opinion; it doesn’t matter. It’s moo.” and many, many more!

The seasons are very entertaining and funny, and they have audiences wanting to re-watch every episode!  Now that is possible with Friends being on Netflix, where you can watch movies and shows instantly, right at your fingertips.  The show was a great hit in my opinion.  Have you seen Friends, and if so, what do you think about it?
