My Dream College…UCLA

University of California, Los Angles is often known for their research programs and athletic programs. The University has more than 109 academic departments which makes it so popular because there is so much to choose from. They also have instruction in 40 different languages! UCLA also offers over 80 minors at their college! They have a huge science department with over 100 majors to choose from. The nursing program is also ranked in the top ten nationally.

The student to teacher ratio is 17 to 1 at UCLA, which is great because you can get more one on one help at this large university. They also offer a lot of small class sizes. The cost of tuition and fees for nonresidents of California is around $40,000. The cost for room and board for nonresidents to live on campus is around $14,000. Living off campus for a nonresident is $9,800. The total estimated coat for one year is $60,000 for a nonresident student. Stephanie Straley, pictured above, says that her dream college is UCLA because of the location. There is plenty to do on and off campus at UCLA. What college is your dream college?
