Christmas Break, It’s Come and Gone

The new year has started off strong, and many people are glad that 2016 is over. Over the break, people had time to spend with family and friends. They also got time to sleep in, so coming back to school was pretty hard for some kids. Some didn’t even show up on the first day back. I asked some people what they did over break and what they thought of 2016 ending. I took a picture of some of the people I spoke with, and here’s some of what they had to say.

Grant Steingass- Went to his grandparent’s house and had Christmas. His thoughts at the end of 2016: “It was a good year.”

Kaiden Raider- He played xbox, and he went to basketball. His thoughts at the end of 2016: “It was a good year and 2017 should be better.”

Merritt Kelley- He helped his dad work on trucks and went to his grandma’s for Christmas. His final thoughts for 2016 are: “It was a pretty good year.”

Roman DeLaRosa- He attended family reunions. His final thoughts on 2016: “It wasn’t as great as I thought it would be and many famous people died.”

Dylan Niese- Went to Florida to go to Disney. His final thoughts on 2016: “I could have eaten less food.”

LaBrandon Wright- Spent time with his friends and his family. His final thoughts on 2016: “I should have┬ásaved more money for KFC chicken.”

Courtney Schroeder- Went to church camp. Her final thoughts on 2016 are: “She wishes she wasn’t┬áthere.”

Brayden Casteel- He went to Alabama and swam. His final thoughts on 2016 are “I should have gotten a job.”

We hope everyone had a great Christmas break and that the start of the new year has been a good one.
