Quiz Team

Now that Christmas break is over, students here at LHS are getting back into the school routine. One thing that has started up now is quiz team. The first match of the season was on Wednesday, January 4th against Wayne Trace. There are 10 matches in total, and they occur every Wednesday through March 1st. The rest of the team’s schedule is as follows:

January 11th: against Kalida, home

January 18th: against Fort Jennings, away

January 25th: against Continental, home

February 1st: against Columbus Grove, away

February 8th: against Pandora-Gilboa, home

February 15th: against Ottoville, away

February 22nd: against Ottawa-Glandorf, at home

March 1st: against Miller City, at Miller City

Tylee Dukes, pictured above, says that she enjoys the meets because she gets to see other schools besides our own. Mitchell Schroeder says that he likes it because you can meet other people who share similar interests. The last official meet of the season will be on Thursday, March 9th. That meet will be the Annual Scholastic League Tournament, held at the Putnam County Educational Service Center. Each team will battle each other county team in a round robin style tournament. Good luck to all of those participating!
