PINK OUT!!

Are you ready to get all pinked out on the day of the pink game? On January 14th, the Leipsic High School Basketball programs will be playing against the Columbus Grove Bulldogs. All of the events on this day help benefit the CAP program.  The girls game will take place at 1 p.m., and the boys game will start at 6 p.m. There will be a little break between the girls and boys games. I asked Kierra Meyer, pictured above, what she is excited about for the Columbus Grove pink game. Kierra said, “The drag queen event.” During the break between games there is a chicken BBQ meal available; although, you will need to have a pre-sale ticket to get a chicken dinner. Also during the game break, there is going to be a craft/vendor sale set up.

Columbus Grove is a big rival, yet it still is good to see two schools come together for a good cause. Raising money for CAP is good because the money goes to families in Putnam County. Cancer is a disease that has taken over too many families’ lives in Putnam county and world wide. It is great to see two Putnam county schools come together to sell shirts, start fundraisers, and donate raffle items all to raise money for a good cause. If you would like to donate, or help with any events at the pink game contact Ms. Campbell.  There will be lots of events on game day, including the basketball games, raffle items, craft sales, and a bake sale.  We hope to see you there!
