Christmas is almost here! With so many things to do, do not forget to check out some Christmas activities! One of many people’s favorite Christmas activities is the zoo lights in Toledo. The “Lights before Christmas” run until December 31. The zoo is open on Sunday to Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. They are also open on Friday and Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. The ticket prices variety for each age: adults $17, children $14, Seniors $14, and Children under age to is free. Also, active and retired military members receive free admission.

While you are at the lights, you can also check out their aquarium. The aquarium is also open all year long! They also had ice carving on December 6th, but there are many events at the zoo to come! The zoo now offers bumper cars on ice, but there is an extra fee for this. There are also many groups singing at the zoo this year! Make sure you don’t forget to treat yourself while you’re there. The Toledo Zoo sold 6,800 gallons of hot chocolate, 2,700 pounds of fudge, and over 8,900 cookies. The picture above is of Breanna and Stephanie who loved the Lights Before Christmas and the “big” tree. Make sure you check out the lights before Christmas is over!
